About Me
The story behind the handmade felted toys and the artist who brings them to life.

Olga Kupunia
Fiber Artist & Felting Instructor
I create handmade felted toys and textile art from my studio in Georgia. Each piece is crafted using traditional wet felting and needle felting techniques with 100% natural sheep wool.
With years of experience in fiber arts, I love sharing my passion through hands-on workshops where participants learn these ancient techniques and create their own felted pieces to take home.
I'm Olga, and I create handmade felted toys from my studio in Georgia. Each toy is a labor of love, crafted using traditional wet felting techniques that have been passed down through generations.
My Process
Every toy starts with 100% natural sheep wool. I carefully layer and shape the wool, then use water, soap, and gentle friction to bind the fibers together. This ancient technique, called wet felting, creates a durable and beautifully textured material.
After felting, I hand-stitch details and add embroidered features to bring each character to life. The entire process can take several days, depending on the size and complexity of the piece.
Why Handmade?
In a world of mass production, handmade toys offer something special. Each one is unique, with its own personality and imperfections that make it one-of-a-kind. They carry the warmth and care that went into making them.
My toys are meant to be treasured companions - soft, huggable, and made to last for generations.
